Samuel Snoek-Brown is a writing teacher and a fiction author, though not always in that order. He also works as the production editor for Jersey Devil Press. His work has appeared in Ampersand Review, Red Dirt, Red Fez, Red Wheelbarrow, and others, and is forthcoming in SOL: English Writing in Mexico. An excerpt from his novel Hagridden appeared in a special “pitch” issue of Sententia, and his fiction has been shortlisted in the Faulkner-Wisdom contest in 2010 and 2011.
