Liberty Heise’s poetry investigates and records what is missed or will soon become missing in our natural and personal worlds due to climate change and memory loss. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Horseless Press, Coconut, Crate, The Fourth River, Ecopoetics, Phoebe Journal, Grain Magazine, Poetry Motel and other journals. Liberty received an MA in Creative Writing from Temple University and a BS in Mathematics and ecology from The Evergreen State College. She lives in San Antonio, Texas.
