Jen Karetnick

jenkaretnickprofileJen Karetnick is a Pushcart Prize-nominated author of three full-length poetry collections, including American Sentencing (Winter Goose Publishing, May 2016) and The Treasures That Prevail (Whitepoint Press, September 2016). She has also published four poetry chapbooks and edited two anthologies of South Florida poets and writers. Her poetry, prose, playwriting and interviews have appeared or are forthcoming in, december, Gastronomica, Guernica, North American Review, One, Painted Bride Quarterly, Poet’s Market 2013, Poets & Writers, Prairie Schooner, Only Light Can Do That from THE RATTLING WALL and PEN Center USA, River Styx, Seneca Review, Spillway, Valparaiso Poetry Review and Verse Daily. Her work has won the 2016 Romeo Lemay Poetry Prize and the 2015 Anna Davidson Rosenberg Prize, and been featured as a 2016 “Rock the Chair” piece on Yellow Chair Review and a 2016 “Weekly Read” at Red Bird Chapbooks.
